With this tool is possible to generate as many tests as you want starting from a set of questions. Each test has a group of questions randomly chosen from those present in the main file and the answers are randomized. Once the tests have been generated it will be possible to print them by generating a pdf file and the list of answers for all the tests will be provided.
1) Fill the question section
Enter all the questions you want and divide them into units, you can then choose the units to include in the test and the number of questions chosen randomly for each test. Do not leave empty cells in the middle of questions or answers, although you will be notified when generating the test if there are any.
2) Use the simulator
Use the simulator to understand how to calibrate the test, in particular to know how many points to subtract in case of a wrong answer, so as to compensate for the fact that students can enter random answers to obtain unfair scores, but without penalizing them excessively. Moreover in this way you will know how likely you are to pass the test by entering random answers.
3) Set the parameters and generate tests
Set the parameters to generate the test, these are: the number of tests to generate, the number of questions for each test and the units from which to take the questions. You can also enter the header on each test and the instructions for completing it. When you have done this, press the GENERATE TESTS button.
4) Print the tests
After generating the tests, press the DELETE USELESS SHEETS button and print the entire file. You can do this directly or by printing a Pdf file that you can check and print later. The solutions to the test will also be printed, which you can also find in the "Solutions" sheet.
