My project management background combines a Management Engineering thesis with an ITS course I designed and taught using the PMBOK® Guide — Seventh Edition as its main bibliographic reference.

The thesis examined project management in software and startup environments. The course complemented the PMBOK Guide with the Scrum Guide, Agile, BPMN, Lean and Kanban literature, and applied examples.

From an idea to a software product

My thesis follows the development of a software product from the initial idea to a minimum viable product.

It examines funding, team formation and management, followed by the Inception, Construction and Release phases. This research later provided part of the academic foundation for the course.
